  • Things I Learned From My Toddler and Preschooler

    1. Always have two of everything, one for him and one for his brother, or else whining and screaming are guaranteed
    2. Always hug and kiss both at the same time or jealousy will occur
    3. Distractions and bribing will work for 5 min
    4. There's no such thing as being tired.
    5. Always bring his water, milk and diapers when going out
    6. Yes means No, and No means Yes
    7. There is no such thing as childproofing your house.
    8. A 3-year-old's voice is louder than 200 adults in a crowded restaurant.
    9. Always make sure to wipe his butt and wash his hands after pooping even when he say he did
    10. When you hear the toilet flush and the words "uh oh," it's already too
      late.
    11. If your brother hits you, don't hit him back. They always catch the second person.
    12. If you hear giggling, it could mean either they are currently making a mess or already made a mess
    13. The washer does not take toys very well.
    14. A little dirt won't hurt anyone.
    15. You probably do not want to know what that odor is.
    16. Watching the same movie or listening to the same CD over and over will never get old.
    17. Bounce back quickly from failure
    18. They are thankful for the little things
    19. They take great joy in those they love
